Meet The Team
Matt Redfern
Matt is the director of Matt Redfern Constructions Pty Ltd and has had a passion for building since an early age. After completing his carpentry apprenticeship in 2008 in Wellington NSW he began working as a sole trader. In 2009 Matt completed his Master Builders course and began Matt Redfern Constructions. Matt is passionate about Wellington and its surrounds, striving to use local trades to complete projects.
Sam Redfern
Sam was the first apprentice at Matt Redfern Constructions and has been a valuable team member for over 10 years. Sam has an extensive skillset across all areas of construction and has a fantastic rapport and working relationship with both clients and fellow tradesmen. Sam has entered into a new role of Construction Manager within MRC this year and we are excited to see him excel in this position.
Emily Redfern
Emily began working in the business in 2016 in payroll and administration. Emily is passionate about client selections, materials and colours and also capturing the build process through photography and drone footage and uploading to our social media accounts.
Matt
Matt joined the MRC team as a first year apprentice in 2018. He has completed his apprenticeship and is an absolute asset with anything involving timber.
Alastair
Al joined our team as a first year apprentice in 2022. We've been impressed with his skill level and initative he has shown since joining our team.
Angus
Angus began his apprenticeship with us in 2022. Angus has a knack with machinery and we are excited to see him develop his skills while working in our team.
Lucas
Lucas joined our team as a machine operator in 2023. Lucas ' skills in truck driving and machine operating make him a valuable part of MRC, especially as our Quarry, Robynvale Rock & Gravel gets off the ground.
